INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA PLAYROOM 
The launch of the Interactive Multimedia Thesaurus symposium will precede the EMS05 conference. The two day symposium will be the public inauguration of the playroom which centers around the Multimedia Thesaurus, an ongoing project presenting users with a framework and specific banks of sounds an images to be “sorted” according to their salient characteristics. Access to the symposium is free; interested participants should send an email to Dr. Rosemary Mountain for more information.
